Fasting with Lemon Juice and Maple Syrup

Fasting with Lemon Juice and Maple SyrupFasting in various forms has been used for centuries in many cultures for its healthy and cleansing effects. Fasting has not been extensively researched, but when you regularly practice fasting you should expect weight reduction and unexpected improvements in psyche, joints, skin conditions, allergies and other improvement in your health.

Fasting is an important part of the naturopathic approach to helping the body heal itself. Fasting rests the digestive tract, permits detoxification, and stimulates the immune system to speed recovery. Naturopaths use fasting both for treating acute infections and for chronic conditions where congestion is a feature, to stimulate elimination, such as asthma, sinusitis, cholecystitis, skin conditions and colitis.

As with any fast, it is extremely important to start with motivation! Many people are choosing lemon detox diet simply to lose weight. As you know, the lemon detox is based on the madal bal tree syrup, rich in mineral content. The addition of water, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper aid the detoxification process.

During the fast, only the recommended liquids are taken, no solid foods, vitamins, or other supplements are taken. Light exercise and breathing exercises are a great complement as they increase blood flow and elimination of toxins through the skin and mucous membranes. Also, saunas and steam baths are helpful.

A full lemon detox diet should take at least seven to ten days. It is equally important to break the lemon detox very slowly; to waken a sleeping digestive system with proteins and fats can cause serious illness such as kidney damage. First fruit juices are introduced, then fruits, followed by light foods over a few days.

Many people have proven weight loss results with lemon diet detox diet. As with most diets, results may vary, however lemon detox diet is well-known for its effectiveness and is used by increasing amount of people all over the world. Stick to lemon detox diet and by the end of the process, your body will be cleansed and renewed, you will lose weight, have more energy and feel more relaxed than you have in years!

I had a roommate who tried this diet, after a day or two she came home and ate practically everything that was available. I'm guessing starving yourself for a few days isn't that great if it makes people that insane.

If a person is just as interested in being healthy as being thin I don't see why this cleansing won't work. Stop think about being thin, and losing weight. Think about being clean and healthy.

I am on the lemon diet right now...and let me tell you, it works. Being active and eating right wont clean out the nastys that have built up in you for YEARS. Its been 4 days and have noticed remarkable improvements. With a little help from Smooth move tea and isafenix...I'm on my way to be clean and strong for years to come.

Hi I am currently on the Madal Bal detox and have 1 day left however last night a was out late and did not have my drink with me sitting at a dinner table with friends who ordered fajita's, I decided to risk having a side salad which was a mixture of greens, cherry tomatoes, olives and spanish onion... I have since read that this may be very bad for me, have I done much damage here???
